
Biodirect provides professional packaging services and makes every effort to ensure that your purchase arrives in good physical condition & in good working order. We contract professional freight carriers and insure all shipments for their full value and we ship your major purchases with shock & disturbance sensors to detect potential mishandling of the shipment.
In the unfortunate event that your order does not arrive in good order, please follow these procedures:
Returns & Damaged Shipments
Damaged Shipments
It is essential that your Receiving Department inspect your Biodirect shipment IMMEDIATELY upon receipt. If any external damage to the packaging is evident, accept the shipment only after you or the driver has noted the damage on both his and your copy of the delivery receipt, also request the carrier to inspect the shipment and immediately contact Biodirect. Keep all of the crates, boxes, and packing material for inspection. If upon opening the shipment, you find that there are missing components or if you determine that product was physically damaged, you must request inspection by the carrier within 5 days of delivery or you will relinquish your right to make a claim or be compensated for any repair costs. Biodirect reserves the right to repair a damaged product, where applicable, before replacement or credit is determined.
Product Return Policy The buyer can return an item without any penalties or restocking fees if the item cannot be repaired/replaced within a reasonable amount of time (not to exceed 30 days) from the date of complaint. Any non-warranty returns are subject to a 20% re-stocking fee and return freight costs. Non-warranty related returns exceeding 45 days will be charged a 35% re-stocking fee. Please keep original packaging material for the duration of the warranty period in the event that the product is to be returned; if original packaging material is not available, Biodirect will provide suitable packaging or packaging services at an additional cost.
All returns must be pre-authorized by Biodirect in order to insure proper credit and received within 7 days of return approval/notification; a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA #) will be provided.
To ensure a return credit, each product return must include the following information clearly labeled on the outside of the box:
- Customer Name, Address, Department, Phone Number
- RMA #
Hazardous Shipments must be properly packaged, labeled and in accordance with DOT regulations.
