TurboVap 96 Evaporation Theory
– Patented Gas-Vortex Flow
When the cover of the workstation is closed, 96 gas nozzles in the manifold align into each well of the plate. A stream of inert gas directed into each well creates a “helical flow.” This helical flow, shown by the helix around the arrow in the illustration, sets up a vortexing action that provides for sample homogeneity and continuous rinsing of the well wall.
– Heating Process
Below the locating plates two heater assemblies direct hot air through holes toward each well in the plate. The combination of the forced hot air and the circulating gas evaporates the solvent in each well.
– Vapor Removal Process
An exhaust blower pulls air from the front of the workstation across the plates, removing the solvent vapors. The blower th... |
