| | 5750 | Cell Analysis:Cell Harvester | Perkin Elmer formerly CCS Packard | Filtermate 196 | | Available | Description/Details: Compact, versatile system that simultaneously harvests and washes samples from 96- or 24-well microplates into a solid filter. Ideal for the rapid harvesting of samples for applications such as cell proliferation, receptor binding, nucleic acid degradation, trichloroacetic acid preparations and cytotoxicity assays.... |
| | | 3503 | Cell:Characterization | Scharfe System | Casey 1 TTC | | Available | Description/Details: The CASY® Cell Counter + Analyzer System Model TTC is an indispensable instrument for quality control and long-term monitoring of biological processes as well as for optimizing methods. The high-resolution size distribution provides all parameters required for the effective control of cell cultures. Automated quality assurance functions, an “embedded control unit” and the “embedded” WindowsTM CE operating system guarantee absolute conformity with all GLP / GMP and 21 CFR 11 regulations – one of the few products on the market to offer this. This makes validation of your cell culture procedures
extremely simple and quick to execute.
With the CASY® Cell Counter + Analyzer System Model TTC you can determine cell debris, viable cells, dead cells and cell aggregates simultaneously with one measurement. In addition to the cell and particle concentration, all information on the diameter and the volume of the analyzed sample is provided.

| | | 6166 | Cell:Counter | Nexcelom Bioscience | Auto T4 Cellometer | | Available | Description/Details: Minimal Sample Prep
Disposable Counting Chambers are the only consumable needed to run Cellometer. Only 20uL of sample is required, and the chambers load in seconds and can be disposed when done, eliminating the need for cover slips and washing between samples.
Trypan Blue Viability
Trypan Blue treated cells are automatically counted as live or dead, and the percentage viability is automatically calculated. Live counted cells are indicated by a green circle on-screen, and Dead counted cells by a red-circle. Cell ImageCounted Cell Image
On-screen Imaging
No two cells are the same, which is why live cell morphology can be immediately viewed on-screen, and counted cells are indicated on-screen for further analysis. The counting results are indicated for each cell and images can be saved or exported for a secure record of all of your cell counts.

Today's research and biologic production demands on cell and tissue culture assumes no guesswork to confirming viable cell populations. Therefore, both cell concentration and percentage of viable cells must be determined accurately and precisely. The new Vi-CELL Series Cell Viability Analyzers provide an automatic and cost effective means to perform the trypan blue dye exclusion method. This data is essential to the decision making process for basic tissue culture cell passage and maintaining optimum culture conditions in bioreactors. Cell and tissue culture applications in life science research, including recombinant protein and biopharmaceutical production, require the accuracy, precision and automation available only in the Vi-CELL cell viability analyzer.
The Vi-CELL automates the widely accepted trypan blue cell exclusion method. Historically, cell viability determinations were performed manually using a light microscope and hemacytometer. This ... |
